Flip & Flappin’ Bird Puppets – Workshops with Tom Buckland

Event

Get hands-on and join Canberra artist Tom Buckland transforming cardboard and other recycled materials into fun, moving bird puppets. With simple materials, participants will learn how to create simple mechanical mechanisms to make their bird flip, flap and come to life. This workshop is suitable for all skill levels.

This is a series of workshops where participants will progressively create their bird puppets over three weeks.

There are three ticketing tiers available. The total price includes all three workshops. You can choose whichever ticket tier works for your budget. The "Under 30" price is just for people under 30 years of age.

Profits from workshops contribute to creating affordable space in the city for artists and You Are Here's artist development programs. Thank you for supporting the arts!
